Yuri Dokter – DJ MONITOR
Yuri Dokter (1968) started his Amsterdam based company DJ Monitor in 2005, by providing BUMA STEMRA with playlist information through his audio fingerprinting software, music database and proprietary hardware devices which were recording and identifying all major Dance Events in the Netherlands. Now DJ Monitor is monitoring annually thousands of performances and events from e.g. Sensation, Armin van Buuren, Mysteryland, Tomorrowland, Nature One, Sonar around the world for rights monitoring, music charts, song tracking, consumer engagement and analysis. Enabling verifiable transparency for rights holders and rights user is his credo.
